StatSheet is now projecting Valparaiso as a 13 seed in the NCAA Tournament. The Crusaders are currently on track for an automatic bid and will need it to retain the invite as they're ranked #57 in the StatSheet StatRank. They have a 26-7 overall record and a 13-3 record in the Horizon.

During its last four games, Valparaiso was solid in wins against Wright State, Green Bay, and Youngstown State.

Valparaiso has a 2-3 record against the RPI Top 100 that includes an 0-2 record against the RPI Top 50 and AP Top 25. While the Crusaders have no quality wins, they're hampered by four bad losses including RPI #189 Youngstown State, RPI #223 Loyola (Chicago), RPI #153 Oakland, and RPI #101 Nebraska.

The last four teams into the NCAA Tournament with at-large bids are Temple (23-9, 11-5 A-10, StatRank #42), Alabama (21-11, 12-6 SEC, StatRank #59), Boise State (21-10, 9-7 Mountain West, StatRank #40), and Tennessee (20-12, 11-7 SEC, StatRank #58).

The first four teams out are Colorado (21-11, 10-8 Pac-12, StatRank #45), La Salle (21-9, 11-5 A-10, StatRank #50), Maryland (22-11, 8-10 ACC, StatRank #67), and Wichita State (26-8, 12-6 Missouri Valley, StatRank #32).
